Princess Kate makes a rare appearance at church service in Scotland
Princess Kate attended a Sunday church service while undergoing treatment for cancer.
The 42-year-old Princess of Wales was spotted at Crathie Kirk parish church in Scotland, accompanied by her husband, Prince William, their son, Prince George, and other royal family members, as reported by The Daily Mail on Sunday.
This church is notably the royal family’s place of worship during their stays at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Kate donned a tan glen check outfit, paired with a matching dark brown fedora adorned with a feather, while William opted for a classic navy suit.
Also present at the church service were King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, his wife Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and their son, James, Earl of Wessex, according to The Daily Mail.
This public outing comes just over a month after Kate was seen attending the Wimbledon finals with her daughter, Princess Charlotte.
During the men’s singles final at Wimbledon, the princess was cheerful, greeting the crowd with a big smile as she entered the venue.
At Wimbledon, Kate wore a striking purple Safiyaa dress featuring a ruched bodice and carried a tan handbag, finishing her look with gold accessories. “Great to be back at @Wimbledon!” she shared on Instagram at that time. “Nothing compares to The Championships.”
This church service marked Princess Kate’s third public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March. After stepping back from the spotlight for treatment, she returned in June for Trooping the Colour, which celebrated King Charles’ birthday. Charles is also facing an unspecified type of cancer.
