Star-Studded Affair: George and Amal Clooney Join Forces with Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon on the Red Carpet

George and Amal Clooney join Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon on the red carpet

George Clooney and Brad Pitt never fail to bring Hollywood glamour to the Venice Film Festival.

On Sunday night, the “Wolfs” co-stars dazzled on the red carpet, smiling and waving amidst a flurry of camera flashes. Their appearance comes just hours after Clooney refuted claims that each actor received $35 million for their roles in Jon Watts’ crime thriller, debuting on Apple TV+ on September 27.

Clooney, 63, made a rare appearance with his wife Amal, 46. She captivated in a soft yellow corset gown featuring a ruffled neckline and train, paired with a shimmering gold clutch. Her hair was styled long with highlights, complemented by elegant pearl earrings.

Surprisingly, Pitt, 60, walked the red carpet hand in hand with his girlfriend, jewelry designer Ines de Ramon. He sported a tuxedo jacket with satin lapels and a gold button over a black T-shirt and flared trousers, while Ines wore a striking one-shoulder white gown paired with unique triple-disc earrings.

The 81st Venice Film Festival continues until September 7.

‘Wolves,’ the latest film featuring Brad Pitt and George Clooney, will forego a lavish theatrical release

Earlier that day at a press conference in Venice, both Clooney and Pitt voiced their disappointment that the film, which is being screened out of competition, would only be in theaters for a week before transitioning to streaming.

“It’s unfortunate,” Clooney admitted, but he also recognized that streaming platforms offer actors more opportunities to reach wider audiences. “We need this; our industry requires it.”

“We will always cherish the theatrical experience,” Pitt remarked. “It’s a tricky time, but things will find their balance.”

When asked about the implications of not securing a wide theatrical release for such big names, Clooney quipped, “Clearly, our status is diminishing.”

George Clooney disputes $35 million salary rumor for ‘Wolves’: ‘That’s a harmful perception’

Pitt and Clooney, who last co-starred in the 2008 Coen brothers film “Burn After Reading,” eagerly embraced the opportunity to reunite for “Wolfs” after reading the script.

Pitt remarked, “As I grow older, collaborating with those I truly enjoy becomes a priority.” Clooney humorously added that Pitt is lucky to still be getting roles at this stage in his career. “He’s fortunate to be still working.”

Clooney also denied a New York Times report that stated both actors were paid over $35 million for “Wolfs.”

“It reflects poorly on our industry if people perceive such figures as the standard for salaries,” he explained. “That’s detrimental; it complicates film production.”
