Top Companies Known for Excellent Customer Service: Amazon, Shein, Costco Lead the Pack
Retail behemoth Amazon, the online fashion retailer Shein, and Ghirardelli Chocolate, a prominent candy brand, are among the 600 businesses acknowledged for outstanding customer service in the U.S., as reported by YSL News in collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group.
The report titled America’s Best Customer Service 2025 recognizes businesses that shine in providing top-notch customer experiences. This recognition is based on various metrics, including publicly available data and a comprehensive, confidential online survey involving U.S. consumers.
A total of over 67,000 respondents shared their opinions across seven important aspects of customer service, such as warmth and appreciation towards customers; professionalism; customer support; availability; response speed; solution-focused service; along with transparency and trustworthiness.
To ensure that feedback reflected genuine customer experiences, respondents were requested to rate companies they interacted with in the past three years.
The final rankings omitted companies with notable issues such as data breaches, significant recalls, legal troubles, unethical actions, or environmental damages. Plant A utilized the media monitoring service Onclusive to identify these occurrences.

A study by Khoros, a global customer engagement software firm, revealed that 83% of consumers feel more loyal to brands that can resolve complaints swiftly and effectively. Additionally, a HubSpot survey found that 68% of consumers are willing to pay a premium for brands recognized for excellent customer service.
