Trump Wins Arizona, Completing Clean Sweep of Swing States

On Saturday, Arizona, known for its lengthy post-election ballot process, became the final state to declare results in the 2024 presidential election. Major news outlets including the Associated Press, CNN, and NBC confirmed that Republican Donald Trump has won Arizona.

This victory means Trump has successfully swept all seven battleground states, securing a significant Electoral College advantage over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

With Arizona’s 11 electoral votes, Trump now holds a total of 312 votes compared to Harris’s 226.

The former president, who is now the president-elect, has a lead over Harris of 184,935 votes statewide, with around 483,131 ballots yet to be counted.

Trump secured his return to the presidency on Wednesday morning, marking an impressive rebound after his loss in the 2020 election.

By winning all seven key battleground states and improving his margins in many regions, Trump achieved a decisive victory.

This achievement makes him the second U.S. president in history to be elected for two nonconsecutive terms.
