Travel enthusiasts often travel to Europe to unwind on its beautiful beaches.
This is no surprise, given the continent’s stunning coastlines, from the clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean to the rugged edges along the Atlantic. Many beaches are complemented by picturesque seaside towns and famous beach clubs (How about an Aperol Spritz?).
To assist tourists in picking the ideal beach for their upcoming European getaway, the travel insurance comparison site Quotezone conducted a ranking of the region’s most beloved beaches. They took into account various criteria such as sea and air temperatures, the tranquility of the water, TripAdvisor ratings, and average expenses for a visit, which includes food, drinks, and accommodation. The list featured popular destinations like Greece, Spain, and Italy, as well as lesser-known spots like Slovenia.
“Anyone looking to vacation in Europe should definitely explore these beautiful locations listed in our index, especially our top three hidden gems: Cyprus, Malta, and Slovenia,” said Greg Wilson, CEO and travel insurance expert at Quotezone, in a statement to YSL News.
