Golden Bachelorette: Rose Ceremony and Revelations at the Male Strip Show

‘Golden Bachelorette’ judges male strip contest. Who got a rose and who left in Ep. 4?

In Episode 4 of “The Golden Bachelorette,” Joan Vassos transitions from mourning her late husband, John, to rekindling her desire to date, which includes navigating the challenges of finding love on television alongside the remaining 11 senior suitors.

This drama escalates when Chock, a 60-year-old insurance executive from Wichita, faces a personal emergency of his own, forcing him to leave the house.

After all the emotional moments, the spotlight turns to the very first “Golden Bachelorette” male strip tease, which commences after the seasoned Chippendales introduce a fun challenge.

Now, let’s dive into the details of this intriguing episode.

Spoiler alert: If you’re not ready to learn about the outcomes of Joan’s romantic journey this week, stop here and catch the episode on Hulu.

Why did the ‘Golden Bachelorette’ men rip off their clothes?

The “Bare It All” strip show was quite the spectacle. Somehow, the event tied into Stand Up to Cancer, but the exact connection was a bit unclear—unless it involved the cash that Frenchman Pascal, 69, shot from his money cannon. Regardless, some contestants definitely stood out.

Winner: Jonathan The 61-year-old shipping consultant from Oakland, Iowa, delivered an impressively smooth performance for a novice dancer. Adopting the persona of Sergeant Sexy, Jonathan was seen before the show prepping his sparkly underwear alongside “Hot Dad” Mark. His moves were so impressive, he could easily get recruited by the Chippendales.

Losers: Everyone Else Besides Jonathan The rest of the guys struggled to match Jonathan’s energy after he set such a high standard. They definitely should have saved his performance for later.

Winner: Keith The 62-year-old sales director from San Jose, California, always dreamed of being a Chippendales dancer. He embraced that dream during the show, performing as a classic construction worker. His bubbly personality and playful routine earned him applause.

Winner: Gary The 65-year-old retired finance executive from Palm Desert, California, fully embraced his role as a Nutty Professor. He really wowed everyone by dramatically tearing off his shirt for a memorable finale. Bravo!

Loser: Chock Chock, who wasn’t keen on dancing or stripping, tried to perform in a classic tuxedo but couldn’t pull off the moves. His awkward attempts fell flat, especially his cringe-worthy line about “Ladies like the tush.”

Chock leaves ‘Golden Bachelorette,’ but does he come back?

Chock’s emotional journey continues with the unfortunate passing of his mother, which deeply affects him. Viewers can’t help but recall Joan’s tearful departure last season for similar reasons. While Chock’s exit happens just as he’s gaining Joan’s affection, he has no choice but to step away. After all, Joan would not be impressed with someone who chose a show over attending their mother’s funeral. Ultimately, he makes a surprise return at the end of the episode, suited up (not in dance attire) and resumes his position in the competition for Joan’s heart.

Jordan, a 61-year-old sales manager from Chicago, had hoped for a romantic date with Joan after Chock’s departure, but unfortunately, their chemistry fell flat. To make matters more awkward, REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin and Dave Amato appeared out of nowhere to serenade them in a winter wonderland setting, which Jordan enthusiastically grasped. Against the odds, he managed to secure a rose.

Who didn’t get a rose from Joan on ‘Golden Bachelorette’? Four men leave

First off, we must protest Keith’s treatment. Why on earth did Joan make the 6-foot-5 giant sit on the ground for a final date? It seemed totally uncomfortable and excessive. Despite this, he still managed to receive a rose during the ceremony.

Gary’s exit highlights how dominant personalities can be at risk in the “Golden Bachelorette” arena. His impressive dance routine could have earned him a rose, yet he was sent home with grace.

Charles L., 66,

The financial analyst based in Philadelphia has provided an engaging experience, displaying deep emotional depth in his tributes to his deceased wife. However, the game of roses is unforgiving, and he has been eliminated.

Dan, a 64-year-old investor from Naples, Florida, had a strong performance but unfortunately will not receive a rose.

Finally, Gil Ramirez, aged 60, who faced legal issues outside of the show post-filming, has officially exited “The Golden Bachelorette” after he did not receive a rose.
