The Dallas Cowboys faced a tough game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Things took a turn when quarterback Dak Prescott left the game due to a hamstring injury and was subsequently ruled out. Shortly after, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had to leave with a shoulder injury.

Lamb exited during the fourth quarter after backup quarterback Cooper Rush threw him a pass in the end zone on a third-and-11 play. He was down on the field for a brief moment before getting up and holding his right shoulder.

Despite his injury, Lamb returned to the field and successfully caught a pass from Rush for a two-point conversion with 1:28 left in the game.

An MRI is scheduled for Lamb on Monday. However, he expressed his intention to play in the upcoming crucial NFC East matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. ESPN’s Todd Archer mentioned that Lamb might be dealing with an AC joint issue.

The All-Pro receiver made eight catches for 47 yards on 12 targets during the 27-21 defeat.

In August, Lamb signed a significant four-year, $136 million contract extension, which places him just behind the Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson in terms of average salary for wide receivers.
